Y1 have been reading and making Stickman
We have been focusing on the story book Stickman so we took the opportunity (and gap between the rain) to go into the forest area and make our own stickmen! The children worked together and made sure that they moved large sticks/logs around safely.
Y1 & 2 Inter House Multi Skills
On the last day of half term, years 1 and 2 took part in an Inter House Multi Skills event. The children all participated with enthusiasm and showed great sportsmanship throughout the six activities.
Fire Service Visit - Keeping Safe at Home
Year 1 and 2 had a visit from the Fire Service to ensure we know how to keep safe at home.
Learning Outside The Classroom - Maths
The children were learning about capacity and the meaning of 'full, empty, nearly full and nearly empty'
Y1 Science - Floating and Sinking
The children had great fun experimenting with floating and sinking.
