April 3, 2020

The Year 6 netball team enjoyed what might be their final taste of primary school competitive sport. It started off with a lovely walk to Budmouth, a stop in the Co-op for some sweets - - - and then the hail storm came! Despite the slippery conditions the team went on to win their first game versus DMS. They went on to beat St Andrews as well, drawing with St Mary’s and losing to St Osmunds and Radipole.

On 13th February 2020, Year 4 visited Rockburn Ltd in Bridport. We had a go at indoor bouldering with two instructors. They showed us how to climb safely and how to move over the different challenges on the walls. 

February 25, 2020

The year 6 football team enjoyed success at the indoor football tournament. They managed to comfortably win all of their group games without conceding a goal. They faced Bincombe Valley in the semi final, and managed a nail biting 1-0 victory. They faced Chickerell in the final, who they had beaten in the league 4-0 in the previous week. It was a tough game, with both teams having lots of chances. However, Chickerell scored with a few seconds remaining on the clock to win the tournament. Conifers took the runners...

November 29, 2019

Conifers faced Southill in their second match of the league on a cold Thursday afternoon. Alfie Corlet impressed on his debut, netting one goal. Zach Vanstone scored his first ever hat-trick, with the other goals coming from Harrison, Theo and Logan. The final score was Conifers 7 Southill 0.

November 27, 2019

Confers faced Radipole in their first Ridgeway Sports Association League match. Radipole were a strong side and, even though Conifers came out all guns firing, we failed to score a goal early on and then conceded two goals before half time. Despite some great passing football we let in another two goals, loosing 4-0 to the side who are through to the County finals.

October 22, 2019

The Boys and Girls Football teams had a wet and windy day up at Redlands for the annual 7 aside Tournament. The newly formed girls team did extremely well and showed a 'never give up' attitude. The boys narrowly missed out on a spot in the semi-finals, losing just 2 group games.
