A nurturing environment, inspiring achievement

It was fantastic to see so many creative and colourful Easter hat creations on Monday for our Easter Hat Parade. We were lucky to have the sunshine on our side, making it even more special as we proudly paraded around the playground to showcase our amazing designs for everyone to admire. 'Rosie's mum very kindly came into school with her chickens, Patricia and Marshmallowy, today.  We all had great fun watching them, feeding them mealworms and giving them lots of strokes and cuddles.  The children asked lots of questions and they all came away with wonderful smiles on their faces.' - Miss Treweek

Year 5 took part in an exciting music workshop today on Monday 17th November, where they explored rhythm, timing, and the use of space while learning the importance of listening to one another. Working together as a team, they experimented with a variety of drums to create their own musical patterns. The room was filled with energy as the children collaborated, smiled, and clearly enjoyed the experience.

On the last day of half term, years 1 and 2 took part in an Inter House Multi Skills event. The children all participated with enthusiasm and showed great sportsmanship throughout the six activities.

Year 1 and 2 had a visit from the Fire Service to ensure we know how to keep safe at home.
