Dear Parent / Carer

Just a quick note to say a big thank you for continuing to support and encourage your child to attend school every day and to arrive by 8:45am.  Our whole school attendance has improved from an average of 91.7% last year to 93.4% so far this year so  well done!

We’re currently aiming for 95% attendance for each child.  This might sound quite good but what it really means is …

·        Your child is absent for one half day a month

·        In one year, 2 whole weeks of lessons are missed

So please keep up the good work and don’t forget that your child will receive a certificate if they are in school every single day of a term.  We have given out a massive 207 100% attendance certificates already this year!  If your child has not yet managed to get one, why not aim for 100% attendance during the Summer Term?

And finally we’re here to help.  If you have any concerns about your child’s attendance, please pop into the school office to book an appointment.
