5 Aside Indoor Football Tournament

On Friday 20th January, Miss Frampton took the Year 5 and 6 football team is the indoor tournament at Weymouth College.

With the 5aside rules, the boys took a while to adjust to the fast paced game and went 2-0 down to Beechcroft. However, Kaylem Cockings and Ryley Glover soon found form, scoring two goals to level the game up and secure a 2-2 draw.

In the second game, Conifers faced Holy Trinity in their second game, it was a fiercely tight affair, unfortunately Holy Trinity scored a late winner meaning Conifers lost 3-2.

Dorchester Middle were our final opponents and we lost 3-0. Despite, not qualifying for the finals, the boys all enjoys their Friday evening of football.
