High5 Netball League

Conifers netball team played in their first game of the new season on Thursday 29th September at Budmouth courts.

After a few weeks training, the team were nervousness but excited for their first match against Wyke Regis B.

The game started with out shooting partnership of Tommy Dalton and Jessie Long dominating the Wyke defence, however their hard work was not rewarded with a goal. Wyke were finding it hard to get near to their post due to some fantastic defending by Daniel Heath, Ellie-May Hiscutt and Phoebe Dolbear. Conifers finally found the net in the final quarter, with Daniel Heath and Phoebe Dolbear each scoring one, meaning Conifers netted their first victory 2-0.

Thank you to all the parents, grandparents and siblings who came and supported the team.

Netball Club runs on Tuesday after school and letters are available from outside Miss Frampton's room.
