Y4 Roman Topic Visit to Dorchester Museum
To conclude our topic of Romans, Year 4 had an exciting day at Dorchester Museum! We learnt all about archaeology and had great fun excavating our own dig site where we discovered ancient Roman treasures! The children got to handle real Roman artefacts and learn about their origins and purposes. We also learnt about how Romans dressed and that their outfits signified their status in the empire. Y3 Mayan Topic Impact Day
Year 3 had their impact day on Tuesday 15th February for their Topic ‘The Mayans’. We designed, made and evaluated a Mayan mask. We were able to take these lovely masks home and looked at the Mayan number system. To finish off the day we had some 'Hot Chocolate' with marshmallows and cream. It was very tasty!
West Dorset Cross Country Championships 2022
The Conifers Cross Country teams put in some tremendous performances at the West Dorset Cross Country Championships and, as you can see, really enjoyed themselves!
