

Football v Southill
Conifers faced Southill in their second match of the league on a cold Thursday afternoon. Alfie Corlet impressed on his debut, netting one goal. Zach Vanstone scored his first ever hat-trick, with the other goals coming from Harrison, Theo and Logan. The final score was Conifers 7 Southill 0.


Football v Radipole
Confers faced Radipole in their first Ridgeway Sports Association League match. Radipole were a strong side and, even though Conifers came out all guns firing, we failed to score a goal early on and then conceded two goals before half time. Despite some great passing football we let in another two goals, loosing 4-0 to the side who are through to the County finals.


Autumn Team Day
For the first Team Day of this academic year we took inspiration from the fact that the indigenous peoples of America celebrate their tradition, cultures and history at this time of year. The children made totem poles, dream catchers, and designed tribal tattoos as a part of our Team Day. House Competition Afternoon
The first House Competition Afternoon took place at the end of last half term. It was a great success, with all the children able to contribute to earning points for their House Team. Each team was instructed to work on building a “Guy” The four finalist “Guys” are currently being displayed in the hall. The winning “Guy “ was the Gryphon’s effort- complete with realistic beard!


Ash Class - WOEC Visit
Ash class went to WOEC on 11th October 2019. We were all very tired after going to Hooke Court but we had lots of fun nevertheless. We split into groups and took turns in the indoor tunnels and indoor climbing wall.


Y4 Visit to Hooke Court
Year 4 went to Hooke Court 7th-9th October 2019. While at Hooke Court, we worked in teams to complete a river study, participate in Ancient Greek battle formations, prepare and taste food as well as a night walk and camp fire songs. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their time at Hooke Court.
