This half term our team day was based around our twin school Katharaka in Kenya. We learned all about African Christmas, looking at the animals and art of Kenya. No Christmas team day would happen without a sing along and throughout the corridors of Conifers our best Christmas voices rang out! Zimbabwe Zumba was popular among the children and teachers as they grooved their way towards the Christmas holidays.
It was Conifers House Competition afternoon on Friday 14th December. The children really got into the swing of Christmas by designing a prototype sleigh for Santa. Modifications included an elf magnet for when the elf inevitably falls over the side of the sleigh, a hot chocolate maker, a super duper control panel, booster power, candy cane storage compartments and the list goes on. The winning team was Pegasus (the blue team). Children and staff enjoyed the day, we hope Santa
We have the second best girls football team in Dorset! The girls had an amazing day out at Bournemouth today, narrowly losing in the final 2-1 to St Katharine's from Bournemouth.
A huge 'Well Done' to all the girls who have worked so hard on this achievement over the last 2 years. Thank you also to all of the adults involved in training and transporting the team.
The boys football team enjoyed a day out to Littledown Sports Centre in Bournemouth for the county finals. The boys won two games, drew one and lost two, they all played extremely well and Charlie and Harry managed to get on the score sheet. Thank you to all the parents who came to support!
