Under 11 Football Tournament

Both the girls and boys football teams braved the windy conditions at Redlands on Friday 12th October. The wait to find out who progressed to the semi-finals was tense but the boys all cheered when we heard we faced Atlantic in the semi finals. The girls also started the tournament strongly with wins against St Mary’s, Holy Trinity, St Nicks and St George’s. Year 4 visit to Hooke Court

Year 4 had a glorious three days away at Hooke Court last week. We spent the first day settling in and completed a local river study. On the Tuesday we did a variety of different bush craft activities including cooking, fire making and shelter building. We were also lucky enough to take a visit over to the WW1 trenches. In the evenings we enjoyed a night walk and a campfire. On the final day, we did come Greek artwork and re-enacted a battle of Athens versus Sparta! The children all thoroughly enjoyed themselves and so did the staff!
