Sports Celebration Party!

All of the children from Years 4, 5 and 6 who represented the school this year were invited to a party to celebrate this year's achievements. All of the children in the tri-golf, cricket and girls football teams received medals to celebrate getting into the County Finals. Theo Dodds, Year 4 County Long Jump Champion, also received an award. However, the biggest award of the evening was for Sports Personality of the Year. All of the children cast their votes in the week and it was given to Troy Muir, Year 6 football captain and sport leader who had represented Conifers in cricket, rounders and athletics. Thank you to all the staff who have helped these children achieve so much this year an

Allotment Club - Party Time!

We had our last allotment club today and invited the parents to join us. We had cake and water - with borage from our allotment. The children made a bouquet of flowers for their grown ups and then were allowed to pull up the carrots, beetroot and onions - unfortunately the parsnips didn’t grow! :(

Year 3 go 'Rock Pooling'

Year 3 loved their rock pool visit. Whilst there we had the opportunity to investigate a variety of rock pool creatures which involved using a key to identify animals. The children also created some beach art, drew a sketch map of the local area and combed the beach to help keep it clean and look for interesting items.

Rounders Tournament Winners

The Year 6 rounders team had a successful end to their sporting year with another trophy to add to the cabinet. They won all of their matches on a scorching hot Thursday afternoon at Budmouth. Well done to all of the boys! The year 5 team also attended the tournament and won a couple of their matches, but played tremendously well against older children.

'Can Do' Multi-Sports and Tri-Golf Festival

Year 4 enjoyed a fantastic day out at Bryanston School in Blandford last week.
