

Yr 5 Orienteering Competition
Throughout March and April, the Year 5 orienteering team visited local schools searching for red and white signs. The competition started on home turf at Conifers, with Daniel Heath and Troy Muir coming first and second in all courses. They team went on to compete at St Andrews, Wyke Regis and Southill, with the finals being at the Nothe. The team did extremely well, and came a credible 4th overall. A big thank you to Miss Ryan for organising all the events.


Yr 3 & 4 Portland Football Tournament
On Wednesday 3rd May, Miss Frampton and Mrs Wilson took the Year 3 and 4 football team up to St George's School, Portland for a tournament. The boys were excited and had high hopes for the afternoon.
The group games were against, Chickerell, Wyke Regis and Radpipole. Conifers beat Radipole twice, drew against Wyke Regis and lost narrowly against Chickerell. The boys all splayed fantastical well together and are looking forward to representing the school in hot Senior team n


Tri-Golf Festival
Pine class travelled to Colfox School in Bridport, for the Tri-Golf Festival on Thursday 27th April. It was a warm day and a great opportunity for the whole class to experience competitions against other schools. The children were split into 3 teams and were competing against schools from weymouth, Dorchester and the Bridport area. Each station involved a different holding skills, putting, driving, hitting targets and coloured cones. All children thoroughly enjoyed the day an


WOEC Outdoor Aventure Activities
Pine class ventured for the second time this year to WOEC to complete a variety of outdoor adventurous activities. Unfortunately, it was raining so the outside climbing was off. But the children thoroughly enjoyed climbing and bouldering on the indoor climbing walls. They also took part in team building games and orienteering. Everyone had a fantastic time!


Yr 4 & Yr 5 Netball tournament
The local schools netball tournament was held at the beginning of March at Budmouth School. Our team, made up of year 5 children and one year 4 faced a tough challenged playing against some tall year 6 children from Weymouth and Dorchester. The team had some close matches, but managed to beat Radipole B and St Mary's. Well done to all players and thank you to the parents who came down to support.
