The School Nurse

The School Nurse offers times when you can chat about any childcare issues

School Counsellor

We have a School Counsellor whose role is to   support young people. She is available for consultations with parents and is happy to    offer support to families where appropriate.         If you would like to speak to her please contact the office to make an appointment.

‘Fusion’

This course equips parents with new strategies to improve communication skills and create a framework of discipline and respect in their families. If you are interested, please contact the office.

Family Learning

With Dorset Adult Education Services the school offers free courses for parents and children to attend together, on a variety of subjects. The school will inform parents through newsletters what is on offer but please check the school noticeboard for further information.

Family Church

Weymouth Family Church meets here every Sunday from 10am-12noon. Families welcome. They provide a crèche, two age relevant Kids Club’s and a 4T’s group for older children. These provide a safe stimulating and interactive environment to teach and help children understand Christian principles.

Wessex Riders

For Children

School Clubs

There are a variety of lunchtime and after school clubs for the children, e.g. Netball, Art, Environment Club, Chess, Recorders and Football.

These clubs change each term, so please see the noticeboard in the School Foyer for up to date information.

Kids Club

3.15-6.00pm     Term time only

Children are collected from Conifers and taken to the pre-school building. A snack is provided and they are then able to participate in the numerous activities on offer.

Music Teachers

The school offers KS2 children tuition  in brass instruments, violin, clarinet, flute and keyboard through peripatetic tutors.

Please see Mrs McIntyre if your child is interested in playing one of these instruments.

Breakfast Club

8.00-9.00 Termtime only

Children can enjoy a healthy breakfast before school at a small cost.

 

Brownies

The Brownies meet in the School Hall every Thursday 5-6pm

Holiday Club

         8.00-6.00pm –various session s offered                  Childcare for working parents or a chance for your child to meet up with their friends.
